Presenter: This workshop provides an
experiential opportunity to learn how the group process
can provide the framework for student motivation, self
awareness, and development. Methods and suggested curriculum
with activities will be provided for facilitating and
establishing student motivation and development groups.

Presenter: The effect of Healed Spirits
in the Workplace
The workshop will demonstrate the effect of Healed Spirits
on workplace communication and relationships, management
effectiveness, employee vitality, commitment, and bottom
line success. The workshop will also help participants
identify unhealed issues that create barriers to meeting
personal and workplace goals and objectives. The workshop
results will be to provide tools for the participant to
take back to the workplace for immediate use to create
Healed Spirits for themselves and the workplace.

purpose and responsibility for the second half of their

The Illinois Parent Resource Center offers
special programs to enhance parenting and provide detailed
information about child development and typical parent-child
dilemmas. In addition, there are programs for families
of divorce, including a six week, twelve hour program
to aid divorcing or divorced parents cope with co-parenting
following the dissolution of the intact family. Spouses
are placed in different classes to reduce potential
conflict, but are taught better communication and mediation
skills, and help them field questions from children. Children
of divorce also have special needs which are addressed
in eight week classes for children coping with high conflict
divorce. Identification of feelings, coping strategies
and anger management are focused on in a group format.
A special twelve week fitness and
health program for children at risk for overweight will
be offered to parents and children beginning in November
2008.
